PriPicture Pritika is a first year Master in Health Informatics graduate student with a great interest in natural language processing. She has a MPH in Epidemiology with a certificate in public health genetics from University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering from Cornell University. During her time in Ann Arbor, she has done some research with genetic datasets, HPV, cancer, and mathematical models. Her future will hopefully be in academia, and she hopes to pursue a PhD in the fields of either epidemiology or medical informatics. Apart from her intellectual pursuits, Pritika is deeply passionate about community engagement on various public health issues, particularly issues surrounding sexual health. Additionally, she enjoys teaching genetics at an undergraduate level, attempting to learn the cello (after having several years of training in classical violin), and going on long scenic bike rides.

Tom is a 2nd year Masters student at the School of Information, where he is specializing in Human-Computer Interaction. Tom started off his professional career in clinical psychiatry, before ultimately changing his direction and pursuing design. This background facilitates his design in his attention to detail, utilizing similar research methods when conducting user studies that he learned through his clinical work.

Tom has some programming background as well, and has worked as a frontend developer in the past. He believes that this is key in designing good products, as he is able to sympathize with the developer and generate realistic goals.
